To enjoy it in all simplicity, the Camping des 2 Vallées is ideally located for your mountain biking trips. In the heart of nature, near the Gorges de la Dourbie, the itineraries from the campsite lead you to spectacular viewpoints and various routes : limestone plateaux, gorges, etc…
The geographical situation of the campsite is perfect to discover the Cévennes in a different way!
The pleasure of speed, adrenaline rush, freeride or simply the desire to discover picturesque villages, to admire the beauty and grandeur of nature, to cross magnificent landscapes… the mountain bike practice in the Grands Causses is the perfect terrain for lovers of natural descents, it will seducate you and allow you to escape from the daily worries.
Mountain bike touring : circuits and routes around the campsite
Today, mountain biking is open to all ages and all levels, especially with the development of the Electrically assisted mountain bike, which is boosting its development and multiplying the possibilities of discovering the paths of our region.
So, we invite you :
- Go to the South of Aveyron with its varied and signposted routes from 50 to 130 kilometers
- Down the slopes of Mont Aigoual, in the heart of the Cévennes, to enjoy wild landscapes close to nature and a breathtaking view on a clear day
- To take part in “La Caussenarde”, a mythical hike accessible to the general public with its 5 routes from 25 to 105 km. Between the refreshment points, you will cross the Causse Noir, the Gorges of the Tarn and the Jonte, then the Gorges of the Trévezel up to the Larzac discovering exceptional panoramas. Lovers of downhill skiing will also be delighted by the immense limestone plateaux of the Causses, interspersed with deep gorges, giving them some sensations of speed and technicality.
